One of the most authentic and great-tasting Mexican food places in all of Sacramento. Great food, homemade salsas with chips, great service, and great pricing. My favorites are the carne asada torta and tacos de lengua.
The menudo is sooo delicious with the homemade corn tortillas — the closest thing to home. They're also known for their chicken which is consistently juicy, and the birria is pretty good too.
The salsas and chip bar are on point, and the portions are generous. The grilled chicken caught our attention from the street — flavorful and moist. The atmosphere is lively and the staff is friendly.
